Roger Dale Green died July 31, 2014 at his residence in Lincoln, Nebraska with his children by his side. He is the son of Mary Ruth Mehaffey Green and the late Hardy Hershell Green.

He is survived by Janet Green the mother of his children; daughters, Nicole Green, Brandi Green, Mary Green and Crystal McDaniel; step-daughter, Michele Watkins; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren all of Nebraska; brother, Ronnie Green of Arizona, sisters, Brenda Rush and Barbara (Darrell) Hefner of Gastonia.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia with Reverend Kevin Crumbley officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
