Mr. Ronald Eugene Alexander, 60, of 272 Alpine Circle, died unexpectedly at Iredell Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 30, 2011.
He was born on May 20, 1950, in Iredell County, and was a son of Katherine Barnard Alexander and the late Earnest Ross Alexander. Mr. Alexander graduated from North Iredell High School in 1968 and N.C. State University in 1972. He was in Industrial Engineer having worked for Clark Equipment and Khroeler Furniture. He was a member of Stony Point United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting.
On September 6, 1980, he married the former Susan Morrow who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ross Alexander of Raleigh; his mother, Katherine Barnard Alexander of Stony Point; a brother, Kenneth Alexander of Morrisville; his father- and mother-In-Law, Harold and Shirley Morrow; brother- and sister-in-law: Jeffrey and Tammy Morrow; and a niece, Kayla Morrow.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Iredell Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charles Morrow officiating. The family will speak with friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. At other times, they will be assembled at the residence.
