DUBLIN -- Ronald Michael Prim passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at home after a difficult battle with cancer.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Harry Earles officiating. Interment to follow in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Ron was born Jan. 30, 1948, to Jesse and Louise Prim. He lived in Fort Worth most of his life and moved to Dublin with his family in 1992. He retired from Lockheed Martin and more recently from Texas Health Resources. Ron was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin. Ron enjoyed old music, restoring their home in Dublin, and was an avid sports fan. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Navy and also the Army.
Ron will be missed by his loving family, but remembered always. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife of 30 years, Doris Prim; daughters, Linda Ward, Shelly Jones and Angela Prim; son, Joseph Prim; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Gordon Primm and James Prim; sisters, Linda Castleberry and Susan Salazar; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
