Rosalyn Mitcham Ashworth, 92, of Atlanta died Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She was born to the late Tom and Eunice Mitcham on August 2, 1920 in Senoia, GA. She married William J. Ashworth in 1945 and they lived together in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Young Harris College. Rosalyn was an elementary school teacher in the Atlanta Public Schools for 20 years. She was an active member of Mary Branan Methodist Church where she was President of the UMW. Rosalyn is survived by her daughter Tamara Baggett and a very fine cat named Maxx. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Halcyon Hospice Foundation, 1435 Haw Creek Circle East, Suite 402, Cumming, Georgia 30041. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8:30 PM at Patterson's Spring Hill. Interment services will be Saturday, February 23 at 3 PM at Westview Cemetery.
