Rose Raccuia, 88, passed away on September 4, 2012 at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care in Stuart, Florida.
Born in West Haven, Connecticut, she had been a resident of Hamden, CT for forty-two years before relocating to the Stuart area one year ago.
Rose was a homemaker and of Catholic faith.
Rose is survived by her husband, Bernard Raccuia of Hamden, Connecticut; daughter, Dolores Ciccone, and her husband, Gerald of Stuart, Florida; son, Richard DeMatties and his wife, Donna of Hamden, Connecticut; step-son, Raymond Raccuia of Arizona; step-son, Bernard Raccuia of Hamden, Connecticut; Paul Raccuia of Stratford, Connecticut; brother, Robert Frandy of Hamden, Connecticut; brother, William Frandy of East Haven, Connecticut; grandchildren, Ricky, Gia, Russell, Nico and Mareysa, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband of twenty years, Russell DeMatties, brother, Louis Frandy and sister, Dolores Mavrides.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Florida.
