Rose Mary Meoli D'Aurio, age 84, of Marietta, GA, passed away peacefully on February 17th after a brief illness. Rose was born September 6, 1928 in New Haven, CT and is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, George, sister Betty and brother Arthur. Rose was a long time parishoner of Our Lady of Victory Church in West Haven and worked at Jimmies of Savin Rock for many years.
She is survived by her six loving children, son Sal and Patti of Northford CT; son George and Nancy of Sharpsburg GA; daughter Rose Ann Roy and Steve of Marietta GA.; daughter Alicia Germani of Tallahassee FL; daughter Kathy Perrilli and Mark of West Haven CT; and son Anthony and Talia of Marietta GA; grandchildren Michael, Alexandria, Jennifer, Matt, Marissa, Sandy, Brian, Heather, Jamie, Angela, Nick, Chelsey, Jordan and Tessa, 3 great grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews and friends.
Catholic services will be held at 4:00 on Friday, March 1 at H.M. Patterson Canton Hill Chapel, Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends following services at Rose's home at 878 Hyde Road, Marietta.
A memorial service will take place in New Haven, CT in the spring.
