MCNEIL, ROY G. – age 83, of South Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013, surrounded by family. He was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by father and mother, Bill and Fannie McNeil; brother, R.W. (Buck) and wife Faye Kyle McNeil; and sister, Irene Owens. Survived by wife of 58 years, Betty B. McNeil; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Mike Schweer; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Dayna McNeil, and Randy and Donna McNeil; twin brother and sister-in-law, Ray E. McNeil and Delores McNeil; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tennova Hospice Home Care. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 24, 2013, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 1:45 pm at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. David Gregg officiating, the graveside service at 2:00 pm.
