Rudolph Jussi Seadal (Gösta Rudolf Sjödahl) aged 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, March 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta, wife Doris, and son Craig. Surviving are his wife of 10 years Ilene, daughter Linda Redman, grandchildren Carrie Redman, Durke (Beth) Redman, Christopher (Rikki) O'Brien, great-grandchildren Brieana "B" Redman, Oscar Redman, Alex Redman, and many additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are step-daughters Paula (Jim Nadwodnik) Feutz, Tammy Makarewicz, and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Rudy proudly served his country during WWII. He was a pharmacist for over 64 years, and an avid musician from an early age continuing to be active into his 90's. He was also a founding member of The River City Jazz Band. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 E. Fulton, Grand Rapids, MI 49506 with Rev. Sarah Stobie officiating. Visitation on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. One hour additional visitation on Tuesday at church from 10am until the service at 11am.
