Rufus Guy Aliff, 82, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Jewish Hospital.
A native of Roanoke, VA, he was a retired plant manager for Double Envelope Corp, a member of Beechland Baptist Church, and was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Chisom Aliff; a daughter, Carolyn Hughes (David); a brother, Richard Aliff (Barbara); grandchildren, Emily Hughes Radford (James) and Jeffrey Hughes; and a great-grandchild, Olivia Faith Radford.
A funeral service in Louisville will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 2:00 until the time of service. A funeral service will be held in Roanoke, VA at 12:00 pm Saturday at Oakey's Funeral Home Vinton Chapel, 627 Hardy Rd., followed by burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation at Oakey's will be from 2-8 pm Friday.
