Ruth was born February 17, 1935 to William and Glenora (Hatfield) Chapple, and passed away April 7, 2014 at age 79.
Ruth loved working with children, traveling, and her cats. She was an Audiologist for the health department in Genesee County, and in her spare time enjoyed music and playing the piano, reading and gardening. Ruth was a Central Michigan University graduate, who went on to live in Clare, Birch Run, Davison, Flint, and Williamston. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Ruth is survived by her husband Frederick Pardee, daughter Mary (David) Tessler, stepdaughters Gayle Pardee, Sharon (LeRoy) Kinne, Brenda (Frank) Cheap, Sherry (Bob) Barrera, sons David (Maggie) Stone, Mark (Tracy Hammond-Stone) Stone, Alan (***) Stone, sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Thursday April 10, 2014 at 11am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston. Officiating will be Rev. Donald Flint of Flint First Church of The Brethern. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Vernon Twp. Cemetery at 3pm following the funeral service.
