Ruth N. Adams
On December 27, 2011 Ruth "Nomie" Adams (nee Laird) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late John Q. Adams; devoted mother of Sharon Lee DerMotta, J. Laird Adams Sr. and wife Mary Pat, Patricia Manspeaker, Scott Adams and wife Laurie and the late Norris Adams; loving grandmother of Jennifer and her husband Melvin, John and his wife Miranda, Elliot and fiancé Alicia, Joel and his wife Elizabeth, Laura and her husband Anthony, Hannah (Grammy's Happiness), Natalie (Angel Baby), the late Joshua, six great-grandchildren and Courtenay. Beloved daughter of the late Clyde "Chick" Laird and Ruth Wallace Laird. Also survived by loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd.) on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 10:00AM- 12:00 PM at which time funeral services will be held. Interment will follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
