Ruth Baity Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 26, 2012.

Mrs. Ruth "Delta" Caudle Baity, 96, of Greensboro, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Greensboro Retirement Center.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Born in Danville, Virginia, to the late Van and Minnie Caudle, Mrs. Baity was a member of Greensboro Baptist Church. She had a steadfast faith and shared God's love with everyone she came in contact with. She was a dedicated prayer warrior, lifting up all who needed a touch of the Master's merciful hand. Delta was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She loved to sew and was a wonderful cook. Delta was a faithful supporter of Faith Independent Missions. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Raymond Hayes Baity, and all her siblings.
Though Mrs. Baily was never blessed with having children of her own, the Lord saw fit to give her the opportunity to raise three wonderful children. As they grew, so did the number of family members. Those left to cherish her memory include Donna Faulkner and husband Barry of Liberty, Debbie Vestal and husband Ronnie of Yadkinville, and Tim Weems and wife Angel of Greensboro; their children, which she called her grandchildren, Jill Tsoutis and husband Gus of Elon, Jaime Ward and husband Danny of Mebane, Kelly Laughlin and husband Thad of South Carolina, Abram Kirkman of Yadkinville, Torie Weems, and Caleb Weems, both of Greensboro; and then the great-grandbabies, Nicholas, Renee, Chance, Ethan, Jacob, and Maddie.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm Monday evening, March 26, 2012, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greensboro Baptist Church 3901 Osborne Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407.

I was blessed to have the opportunity to take care of Mrs Baity at GRC. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. No doubt Heaven received a wonderful soul. My prayers are with her family during this time of grief.
