Justine Baker
Ruth Justine Baker, 85, of Washington, WV, passed away May 16, 2011 at Camden-Clark Medical Center Memorial Campus.
She was born June 25, 1925 in Roane County, WV a daughter of the late John and Sadie Gay Reed Brabham. She was a member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church and she loved to square dance, quilt, and cook and was known for her apple pies.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald McCrady and wife Deborah of Belpre, OH, Kent Baker and wife Josephine of Washington, WV, and Samuel Baker and wife Christine of Summerville, SC; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Jim" Baker; three brothers, Earl and John D. Brabham and an infant brother Eugene; and six sisters, Alta Knopp, Edna McCrady, Olive Silket, Irene Green, Lona Carpenter, and Eva Hickman.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
