Ruth Barber Jones, 70, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, N. C. The funeral will be held Monday at 1:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Chapel in Williamston. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jones was born in Martin County on December 3, 1940, daughter of the late Dennis Barber and Essie Perry. She was the Owner of All American Beauty Shop.
On July 4, 1958, she married John P. Jones, who survives. In addition, she is survived by her daughters Tammy Jones Cratt of Williamston and Pam Jones Lee of Dunn; Brothers Grover Barber of Williamston and Paul Barber of Sherrills Ford; Grandchildren John Cratt, Harley Cratt and Landon Lee.
The family will receive friend Sunday night at Biggs Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:30 PM other times at the home.
