Sadhu Singh Bains

Sadhu Singh Bains was born on March 15, 1916 in the village of Kandola, dist: Jalandhar. He was the third son of Sher S. Bains and Bhani K. Bains. He was also the father of 5 children, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Sadhu Singh was a man of quiet strength, courage, and independence. Being 92, age was never a factor in his everyday life. We have known a man who was always independent even until his very last day.
One of his greatest strengths was having a sharp memory. He would always be the first to remember people, places, and dates. To his grandchildren he was always their best friend. He would always be the first to encourage them, to do well in school, reward them for their achievements, and watch them succeed. On his own, he would love to read, garden, travel, bus around, and go bike riding.
Sadhu Singh will always be remembered as the man with a big heart. He may have left us, but his laugh will always be left in the hearts of his loved ones. As our lives move forward, his beliefs, words, and memories will always remain to guide us to the life he lived. He will be missed beyond words can even express.
