Samuel Evans Anderson
MACON – Samuel Evans Anderson, 40, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate). Dr. James C. Dant will officiate. The family will greet friends following the graveside services at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Andy Anderson Institute, P. O. Box 250, Macon, GA 31202.
Sam was born in Macon and had lived here for most of his life. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Mercer University of a BA degree in Business. Sam was the son of the late Rosemary Evans Anderson Ivey and was preceded in death by his brother, Halstead T. "Andy" Anderson.
Sam is survived by his father, William H. (Carolyn) Anderson, II of Macon; brother, William H. (Nina) Anderson, III of Macon; sister-in-law, Helen Anderson (John Paul) Gaddy of Macon; nieces, Tindal, Maggie, Riley Anderson all of Macon and Kate Anderson of Jacksonville, FL; step-brother, Rob (Susan Marie) McCord of Macon; step-sister, Colyar (Peter) Persons of Macon.
