Sandra M. Donovan of Indianapolis died March 13, 2014, at age 68 following a long illness.
Sandy graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, IN and held an undergraduate degree from Butler University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and was active in Young Republicans. She went on to earn a Masters Degree from Indiana University and taught in the Monroe County school system.
She was the Founder of Computers in Plain English, Inc., a computer consulting and software design firm and designed and maintained the Do Not Call internal database and Unsolicited Faxes internal database for the Indiana State Attorney General's Telephone Privacy Division.
Sandy had been a member of WINS, the Junior League of Indianapolis, Woodstock Club, Meridian Hills Country Club, and held the distinction of being the first female member of the Columbia Club. She had also belonged to Players Club, Dramatic Club had been a member of St Luke Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her father Arthur R. Donovan and sister Karen D. Magan, formerly of Evansville.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie D. Donovan of Evansville, two sons, Matthew D. Larkin and Jon L. Donovan (Molly), grandchildren Lothlorien M. Donovan and Maximilian S. Donovan all of Indianapolis.
Nephews Michael Magan (Amy), great niece Anna and great nephews Charles and Robert of Carmel; Mark Magan (Shannon) of Huntingburg.
Private burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville.
