Homecoming for Sara Ann Williams:
Sara Ann (Alexander)Williams, 68 died with her family by her side on June 12th 2012, A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 23rd at 11am at Christ Fellowship at: 8900 S.W. 168 Street In Palmetto bay, Florida. The wake will be that Friday the 22nd of June from 6pm to 12 at Kendall Memorial funeral home on: 7355 S.W. 117 Avenue in Miami. Burial will follow soon after at Dade South cemetery at 14300 S.W. 117 Avenue.
Sara was born on September 18, 1943 in St. Augustine, Florida. Her mothers' name was Thelma Rose Geraldine Carey and her fathers' name was Harry Alexander. Sara had three siblings. Annette Cardona, Harriet Puchades and Steven Alexander. Sara's was of Russian , Irish, and English decent.
Sara was a very out spoken and outgoing child as well as an adult. She loved the outdoors and was very adventurous. She was very caring and would always help out her younger siblings.
Sara graduated from Miami high in 1961 and did some college courses. Sara also went to school to become a travel agent and decided to work for Avis rent a car and was working there for over 17 years.
Sara met her soon to be husband Wallace Williams in 1971. They together had four beautiful children. Sara was survived by her children: Angela Spann the eldest, then, Lisa Newkirk, her son, Anthony Alexander and the youngest Kimberly Alexander.
Sara had the pleasure of seeing all of her grandchildren: First was Amanda Hernandez who is eldest grandchild of Sara. Then Taylor Gilchrist, Anthony Williams, Keira Wright, Kayla Gilchrist, Brianna Newkirk, Faion Davis Jr., Jamari Williams, Dallas Williams, Christopher Newkirk, and Maliah Davis.
Sara loved and adored her four children and all eleven of her grandchildren.
She was the best mom ever!! Our mom was caring and understanding. She will be greatly missed but, will always remain in our hearts.
