Sarah Brown Blevins passed away November 12, 2012 at her residence in Charlotte. A graveside service will be at 2:00PM Thursday, November 15th at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Reverends De Hilyer and David Lee officiating. The family will gather at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home at 1:30 prior to the service. Mrs. Blevins was born in Mountain City, Tenn. August 17, 1920 daughter of the late Robert Bruce and Hattie Adams Brown. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Bruce Blevins (Libby) of Mint Hill, NC and Jim Blevins of Charlotte, grandchildren Jenna and Scott, and great grandchildren, Hannah and Luke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Hamilton Blevins, Sr. The family would like to thank Presbyterian Hospice, Pamela Henderson, Kendra Taylor and Summer Woods for their loving care.
