Burchette, Sarah G. – age 85, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at home. She was a member of Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle. Preceded in death by husband, J.D. (Shorty) Burchette. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law: Mike & Brenda Burchette, daughter and son-in-law: Judy & Floyd Owens, grandchildren: Branden and wife Lindsay Burchette, Aaron and wife Morgan Burchette, Tommy Owens, great-grandchildren: Baylor Michael Burchette, Jolee Grace Burchette, Aynsleigh Caroline Burchette, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 10 at Sherwood Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM. Bob Evans will officiate.
