Shanna Jean Holmes Aguiar, 34, of White, Georgia went peacefully home to be with the Lord and her Papa on August 17, 2012.
Shanna was born on April 18, 1978. She was a member of Stamp Creek Baptist Church and was known for her big heart, helpful attitude, and kind spirit. She was creative, witty and everyone who knew Shanna loved her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Zola and Lewis Holmes and Elbert "Papa" Alexander, and mother-in-law Myrna Benoit.
Shanna is survived by her husband, Leo Aguiar, parents, Martha and Randy Holmes, brother and sister-in-law Robbie and Judy Holmes, grandmother Pauline Alexander, nephews Bill, Blake, and Brent Ray, uncle and aunt Roger and Debbie Alexander, cousins, Josh and Rebekka Alexander, Erin and Drew Prentice, sister and brother-in law, Cynthia Regalla and Roger Aguira III, special great aunt, Faye Satterfield, and "aunt" Cathy Ward and her beloved pet, Ruby. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Stamp Creek Baptist Church with Jimmy Blackburn and Buddy Bagley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday evening, August 19, 2012 from 6:00-9:00.
Pallbearers will be Leo Aguiar, Robbie Holmes, Joshua Alexander, Bill Ray, Blake Ray, Brent Ray, Tony Atchley, Grant Springfield, and Sammy McMillan.
