Shelby Jean Browning Couch, age 74, of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Truth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her children, Kathy Cox and Perry Couch; parents, Clyde and Dora Browning; brothers, R. B. and Roy Browning; and sisters, Doris Bales and Shirley Young.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, John Couch; brothers, Bill Browning and Dale (Linda) Browning; sisters, Wanda (Marlin) Holland, Gaynell (Ross) McGee, and Joyce (J. W.) Swatzell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bulls Gap Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Pilot Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Bulls Gap Funeral Home.
