SHIRLEY C. PATE, 81, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 16, 1931, in Louisville, Ky., she was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. She retired in 1992 as Director of Services from the Fort Wayne Marriott Hotel. Surviving are her daughters, Marsha Pate Fenyves, Kathleen Pate Biggs and Janet (Richard) Harris; grandchildren, Julie, Christie, Jeanna, Dan, Jason, Jenny, and Kim; great-grandchildren, Kacie, Haleigh, Gavin, Brooke, Cole, Alexandra, Veronique, Trystan, Cameron, Kayleigh, Ben, Jonah, and Bryant; and brothers, Donald (Sally) Williams and John Williams Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John C. Pate Jr., in 2009. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road.
