Stephanie T. (Lysyj) Charette, age 86 of Fall River, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. She was the wife of the late Raymond Charette.
She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie Lysyj and a graduate of BMC Durfee High School. Mrs. Charette was employed as a Department Manager at Zayre's in Dartmouth and later worked at Stop & Shop in Fall River.
She was a former member of Montaup & Pocasset Country Clubs, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Retired Municipal Employees Association, Veterans of Foreign War Post 486, Retired State, County & Municipal Employees Association and a former communicant of St. William's Church.
She is survived by her three children; Robert Charette of Tiverton, Raymond Charette of Paxton, MA and Sheila Connolly of Fall River; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Stanley Lysyj, Bolvina Werbinski, Josephine Christiansen, Alice Surprenant, Wanda Brilliant and Anna Raposa.
Her visiting hours will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her honor may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
