Stephen Warin, 93, of Sparta passed away on March 7, 2013 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus, NJ. Stephen was born in Old Forge, PA and lived in Haledon and Paterson, NJ before moving to Sparta 6 years ago. He was a proud member of the United States Army during WWll and was a member of the American Legion in Haledon, NJ. Stephen was employed by Dupont Inc., in Newark for many years in the Pigment processing division. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Betty (nee Cobb) Warin. Stephen is survived by his devoted children: James Warin and his wife Mayra of Saylorsburg, PA; Stephanie Zonin and her husband William of Monroe, NC; grandchildren: Sherri Trapanese and her husband Craig of Sparta, NJ; William Zonin Jr. and his wife Nicole of Ranlo, NC and James Warin Jr. and his wife Kristen of Hopatcong, NJ. Stephen is also survived by his loving great-grandchildren: Jessica, Tyler, Cailee, Shayne, and Sierra. Friends may call Monday, March 11, 2013 from 5-9PM at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm Monday at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn, NJ.
