Sue Jane LaForce Barrett
89, of Indianapolis entered the gates of Heaven on February 13, 2011. She was born on June 4, 1921 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, the daughter of James Emmitt and Etta Estelle (Newman) Garrison. She worked for Western Electric for 27 years retiring in 1978. She is a member of Shadeland Baptist Church and Telephone Pioneers. Sue is survived by her daughter Joyce (Bill). Roesler, sister Anna Ruth Tearman, granddaughter Cathy Roesler and great-grandson Josh Miller. Visitation will be Thursday February 17 from 11 – 12 am at Shadeland Baptist Church (7427 E 34th St) with a funeral service at 12 pm. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery (6501 E 10th St).
