Sybil Ashmore, 84, of Rudy, AR, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 in her home. She was born July 14, 1927 in Dover, AR. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ashmore.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Barboza and her husband Sal of Van Buren, AR and Cathy Hubbard and her husband Paul of Van Buren, AR; a son David Ashmore and his wife Betty of Van Buren, AR; a brother, Terry Wilson of Desert Palm Springs, CA; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Dabney, Danny Dabney, Anthony Hubbard, Donny Hubbard, Clifton Ashmore, David Ashmore, Melinda Brodie, Sara Conova and Traci Beck.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
