Sylvia Canales was born on January 22, 1976 in Gonzales, TX to Mr. Manuel Canales and Mrs. Sadie Ybarbo-Canales. Sylvia passed away Sunday night at the age of 35 on October 23, 2011 in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her all her grandparents. Sylvia is survived by her parents, two daughters: Mariah Danielle Escobedo and Kaylee Elizabeth Canales, three brothers: Manuel Canales Jr., Joe Canales, and Carlos Canales also three sisters: Anna, Mary Lou and Theresa Canales. Visitation was held for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, TX. Interment followed at the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, TX.
