Gastonia – Sylvia Ann Norris, 45, of X-Ray Drive passed away November 20, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell Talley and Ethel Barker Norris.
She is survived by her sons, David H. Messer of High Shoals and Ralph Lee Guffey Jr. of Gastonia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Marie Henderson and uncle, Reno Barker.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 pm at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1:00 pm prior to the service at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
