Mr. Thomas (Buddy) B. Barnes went to the Lord December 21, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was born June 3, 1938 in Jacksonville Fl. He was preceded in death by his parents Reatuce C and Etta (Ratlieff) Barnes, brothers Robert Barnes, Reatuce Barnes and sister Jean Barnes Wilson. Also Patricia (Vest) Barnes Mother of three of his children. He is survived by his loving wife Ramona (Mahoney) Barnes; Children Thomas B Barnes Jr. (Sheila), Richard Barnes (Donna ) and Tina Barnes Lourcey (Randy), Gary Brazel, Stacey Duncan (Mike) and Sherry Winters (Perry) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren ,nieces and nephews. Mr. Barnes served in the US Navy and was retired from JEA, and was a member of the VFW. He loved fishing and traveling with his wife. His ability to solve problems and help people will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. His wisdom and knowledge passed down too us will live always and forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends at Greenlawn Funeral Home from 6-8PM on Wednesday December 26th with a Rosary Service at 6:30.
