Talmadge R. "Ched"Brasher of Morris, AL was born on Monday, April 12, 1926 and passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the age of 87. Talmadge was a proud WWII veteran of the US Army and served his country for eight years. He retired as a truck driver from American Freight Systems and Ryder Truck with many years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Eva Jeanette Brasher; parents, Benjamin and Augusta Brasher; brother, Pete Brasher; two sisters, Bonnie Watwood and Eloise Lambert. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Lee, Judy Able, Sue Hill (Dan), Wendy Bullock (Dennis), Mandy Page, and Patience Wright; a son, Allen Williamson; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; also, special friends Pearl Anderson and Kevin DeNucci.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM with services on Thursday at 2 PM in the chapel. Interment will follow in Morris City Cemetery with US Army military honors.
