Ted J. Aerni passed away at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, Washington on June 20, 2012. He was one of 12 children born to Josua and Lula Aerni, his birth date being July 26, 1930.
Ted graduate from Laurelwood Academy in Gaston, Oregon. After high school, he joined the Army, spending much of his time stationed in Germany. Soon after returning to the states, Ted enrolled in Walla Walla College, now known as Walla Walla University, graduating and earning his Bachelor's Degree in 1958.
Ted was the plant controller and industrial relations manager for FMC Corp for many years. He was a lover of music and played classical piano. He enjoyed camping and beach combing; collecting driftwood from his favorite beaches in Seaside and Astoria, Oregon.
Ted is survived by his sisters, Betty "Penny" Dietrich of White Salmon, WA, and May North of Franklin, IN; his brothers Dan Aerni of Vancouver, WA, Delbert Aerni of Sun Lakes, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. Those that passed before him were his parents, Josua and Lula; his brothers, Olen, James, David, Robert and Verlyn Aerni and his sisters Edith Hudson and Gladys Runyan.
Ted was dearly loved by his family.
