TERI LEE ANDERSON
Teri Lee Anderson, 56, of Twin Falls passed away Saturday evening, June 9, 2012 at St. Luke's Magic Valley in Twin Falls.
Teri was born on June 16, 1955 in Twin Falls, Idaho the daughter of Robert Charles and Ada Ruth Simcoe Brown. She grew up and attended schools in Burley, graduating from Minico High School. In 1980, Teri married David Joe Anderson in Nevada; together they had one daughter, Layne Anderson in 1982. Teri worked as a dispatcher for the Idaho State Police for a few years before entering her career as a Legal Secretary. She worked at a few different law firms in the Burley – Rupert area before ill health had forced her early retirement.
Teri enjoyed her legal work and found great pride in what she did. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and found great comfort in her Catholic faith. Her love was her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
Teri is survived by her daughter, Layne Anderson (Olivia Castillo) of Jerome; her two grandchildren, Alexis and Chloe; her brother, Dennis (Sharon) Brown of Winnemucca, Nevada; her sister, Tracie (Ron) Roberts of Boise; and her sister-in-law, Rita Brown of Payette. She is also survived by her step daughter, Lori Anderson of Heyburn and her three step grandchildren, Justin Seech, Megan Seech and Lance Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Doyt Brown and one step grandson, James Seech.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 161 6th Ave. East, Twin Falls with Fr. Mariusz Majewski as celebrant. Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.
