VINTON-Tesia L. Brown, 38, went home to be with the Lord at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Vinton and attended Crossroads Baptist Church of Vinton.
Survivors include her loving husband of 16 years, William B. Brown of Vinton; mother Carolyn Judson and her husband Jimmy (who Tesia always knew as "My Daddy"); father Rodney Carney; mother-in-law Lorene Brown; daughters Holly Thibodeaux, and Rachael and Danielle Brown, all of Vinton; maternal grandmother Georgia Courmier; paternal grandmother Mary Whittington; and brother Donnivan "Donny" Carney.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, at Crossroads Baptist Church of Vinton. The Revs. Frank Ducherme and Rob Tibbitts will officiate. Cremation arrangements were handled under the care of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
