Thomas H. "Corky" Corrigan, Sr., devoted husband to his wife, Dad to his children and their spouses, Grandpa to his grandchildren, and father figure to many, died December 26th at the age of 86.
Corky faithfully served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was an active parishioner at St. Paul's in North Canton. He selflessly served his country in the Army, and he left a legacy of love, acceptance, and humility for all to witness. He is remembered as a fierce friend, always ornery and bringing humor into the most difficult situations.
He was born on January 19th, 1927 in Canton, Ohio to the late James and Mary Corrigan. Corky was preceded in death by the love of his life his wife, Sally K. Corrigan; and his daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Ali Mirzakhani.
He is survived by five children, Barbara (John) Stanley, Colleen (Steve) Pierce, Thomas (Sandy) Corrigan, Doug (Renee) Corrigan, and Gerry (Toni) Corrigan; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 241 South Main Street, North Canton with Rev. Msgr. James A. Clarke officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30-11:00am at the church.
