Timothy Warren Alderson died on April 18 at age 64 at his home in Youngsville. He was born March 16, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia where he attended public schools and graduated from Morris Harvey College. He was honorably discharged after service in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He moved to Raleigh with his family in 1980 and then to Youngsville in 2004. He was employed in the electronics field in management and sales for many years. At his death he was employed by Cartwright and Bean, Inc. as an electronics manufacturer's representative.
Tim is survived by three sons, James Warren Alderson, Patrick Andrew Alderson and Lee Matthews Alderson, all of Raleigh; by daughters in law Elizabeth and Erin Alderson; by grandchildren Grace Elizabeth and James Hall Alderson, whom he adored above all as their PePaw; by brothers Chris, David, Larry and Todd Alderson, and sister Mary Beth Davis; by sisters in law Margie, Mary and Jeannie Alderson; by step mother Martha "Marty" Alderson; and by his many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Tim's life will be held on Monday, April 23rd, at 3:00 PM, at Millbrook United Methodist in Raleigh.
