Trudy Leona Bailey of Fort Smith, AR passed away May 31, 2011 at the age of 72. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Harold and Leona Raleigh.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rex Bailey. They have five children; Scott and Enelda Bailey of Fort Smith, Roger Bailey of Fort Smith, Julie Bailey of Austin, TX, and Mitch and Jade Bailey of Clawson, MI. She was also survived by one brother, Ken Raleigh of Fort Smith. She was blessed with six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Shauna Jo Bailey and her brother Frank Raleigh.
She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and wife. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Pallbearers will be Scott Bailey, Roger Bailey, Mitch Bailey, Cameron Bailey, Ryan Bailey, and Hollis Snell, IV.
Viewing to be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 5 – 7 PM at Fentress Mortuary 1805 North "A" Street Fort Smith, AR. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 8712 Horan Drive in Fort Smith on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
