One of her great passions in life was attending her little church, the Southern Temple Baptist Church on High Avenue in Oklahoma City where she had many friends. She replaced the church bell that had been stolen many years ago, the small bell still stands by the little church and rings each Sunday.
Her other passion and hobby was working with stained glass, creating many unique pieces of art. Her works were featured in several shows around Oklahoma, and are dear family pieces that will be passed down for generations.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Southern Temple Baptist Church, 1821 South High Avenue, Oklahoma City. Following the memorial service, there will be a graveside service at the Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 Southeast 29th Street, Del City.
