Veura Joyce Schuler, 106, of Sandy Springs, GA formerly of Sheffield entered into God's eternal care on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Hospice Atlanta in Atlanta GA.
Born January 2, 1906 in Sheffield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Gertrude (Donaldson) Schuler.
Ms. Schuler was a member of the Barnes United Methodist Church. She was a 1924 graduate of Sheffield High School. Upon graduation she attended Edinboro University where she received her BS in Education. Later she obtained a Master's in Education Administration from Penn State University. She was employed as a principal for both the McClintock and Lacy Elementary Schools in Warren, Pa retiring after 44 years of service. Ms. Schuler enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving is a son Charles Schuler and his wife Brenda, Sandy Springs, GA; one granddaughter Sarah Barron and her husband Cameron, Cumming, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no public viewing. Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
