Vicki Jean Rehor-Mockler, age 57, of Hayward, WI passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family and her ever helpful sister, Cindy Eytcheson at County Terrace Assisted Living in Hayward.
Vicki Jean Rehor was born September 22, 1956 in Hayward, WI the daughter of Franklin and Dolores (Ramesdell) Rehor. She was raised in Hayward and graduated from Hayward High School in 1974. Vicki lived in Hayward, WI, Steamboat Springs, CO, and Anchorage, AK. She was a waitress for restaurants and lodges throughout her life. She was an accomplished angler, sportswoman, hunter and gardener. She had a love for anything in nature. Following in the family tradition, Vicki was a fine musician playing the tenor saxophone and the guitar and other instruments. She performed with the Jazz Band in high school and was a member of the group, The Dean's List.
Vicki is survived by her parents, Frank Rehor and Dolores (Ramsdell); siblings, Cindy (Mark) Eytcheson of Hayward, Terry (Rick) Kline of Mason City, IA, Julie Mansheim of Amery, WI, Frank Rehor of Hayward; aunts, Nancy Skowron, "Auntie Bea" LaVerda Luedtke; uncle, Walter (Audrey) Ramsdell; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Jack Kelly; and good friends and caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her companion of many years, Bob Neta; brother-in-law, Mike Mansheim; uncles, Laurie Luedtke, Mitchell Skowron; cousin, Natalie Skowron; Mike Mockler; paternal grandparents, Frank and Anna Rehor; maternal grandparents, Walter and Bertha Ramsdell; maternal grandmother, Sally Steinberg.
A celebration of life will be held for Vicki at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15th at the Veterans Community Center in Hayward. Interment will be at a later time in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
