Lake Charles- Victor "Sonny" Ange, 74, passed away May 4, 2011 at a local nursing home.
He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He spent most of his time in Toledo Bend where he loved being outdoors, gardening, painting and carpentry. He was a loving husband, father, step-father and grandfather.
He also was a member of the operators local #406 for 45 years. He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church.
Survivors include children, Dale Ange, Randy Ange, Theresa Stoddard and husband, Franklin all of Moss Bluff; step-children, Mary Francis Breaux of Baton Rouge, Mary Jane Roofner and husband Johnny of Moss Bluff, Sheila Natalie and husband, Edward of Cedarhurst, NY, Tina Koble and husband, Tom of Richardson TX, Karan Crader of MS; 3 grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 31 step-great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Voncile Crader; father Charles, Ange and mother, Virginia Ange; step-sons, Roland Crader and Ronnie Crader.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday 5-9pm with the rosary at 7pm and Saturday 9am-service.
