Victor Joseph Bertoluzzi Jr., "Vic" 1927-2011
Victor Bertoluzzi Jr. was born November 17th, 1927 in East McKeesport, PA and passed away January 14, 2011 in Palm Harbor, Fl. He is survived by Jean, his loving wife of 58 years, Daughter Renitia Bertoluzzi, Son Victor Joseph III, grandsons Kyle Bertoluzzi and Alexander Niu, brother Norman "Bert" and countless nieces and nephews.
After graduation from East McKeesport High School in 1945, Victor enlisted in the Navy, served in WWII and was honorably discharged in 1948. He obtained a Bachelors degree in History from Newberry College in 1953 and a Masters degree in Education from Western Carolina University in 1970.
Victor was an exceptional educator, working as a Science teacher and Administrator for 35 years, mostly in Pinellas County Florida. In addition he coached basketball and soccer and was a referee for the Florida and North Carolina Referee Associations for 40 years.
Throughout the years Victor has touched the lives of countless students, friends and family members. He will be remembered for his boundless compassion as well as his renowned smoked mullet parties!
A military funeral will be held on June 13th at Bay Pines Cemetery at 2:00pm.
