Last Poem Written before her death:

Wait For Me!

We shared our love for 67 years
We grew up and old together
We shared laughter and some tears
We became a daddy and a mother
Our children brought us such happiness
They are so dear and sweet
Like the icing on Life's cake
They made our life complete
Now you are gone, my dear darling
That fact is in my head
But how can I live without you
I can't believe you are dead
So – Wait for me at those Golden Gates
I promise I won't be late – or long
Then we shall be together forever
In that wonderful, heavenly home!
Wait for me, Darling!
Wait for Me!!
….Jinx

To the family of Jinx Adams... We are sorry to read of your mother's passing. My husband Jack and I were married in the Eastside Church of Christ in the spring of 1960 in a small family ceremony. Your mother and her sisters and other ladies in the church planned and gave us a wedding shower. The only one we had. we remember so fondly the kindness and generosity of them all. I know how much you will miss her. She is home now with your father. God bless all her family and loved ones.

Granny Jinx, you were more special to me than you will ever know! I thank you for your love for me and my boys and all the great fun you and Mike and Russ had going to the beach in your " blue bug " and how you would come in from a days work and come across the street and say, " I want my boys, I missed them today " and off you all would go. You will always be in my heart and I will see you and Jeffie some day in the future in heaven ! I will miss you !
