Virginia Adams, 86, of Acworth, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012. Funeral is Thursday, December 20, 2012, 2pm at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Acworth with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
A longtime member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Mrs. Adams loved the youth of her community especially her many nieces and nephews. She was beautician for most of her adult life and preceded in death by her husband, Irvin and recently by her beloved brother, Mercer "Buddy" Crowe.
Gin is survived by her sisters – Callie C. Jones of Acworth and Clara Shumake of Gainesville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great niece and nephew.
The family is receiving friends Wednesday, December 19 from 4 – 8pm at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
