Virginia L. Aleshire, of Terre Haute, passed away on the morning of Monday, July 30, 2012 at Royal Oaks at the age of 88.
Virginia was born on January 29, 1924 in Terre Haute, the daughter of the late Earl and Hilda Hoffa. In 1947, Virginia was united in marriage to her loving husband, George Aleshire. She worked as a secretary for Quaker Maid, Motor Freight, Indiana State University and Garmong Construction. Virginia was formerly very active in the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past worthy matron.
Virginia is survived by her two sons, John Aleshire of Indianapolis and Gary Aleshire and wife Debbra of Terre Haute.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was welcomed home to heaven by her husband of fifty years, George.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until Virginia's Funeral Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at the Roselawn Funeral Home in Terre Haute.
