VIRGINIA MAY BATTAGLER
Virginia May Battagler (Lena May Brunke), 89, passed away March 8, 2011. Virginia was born November 27, 1921, a lifelong resident of Kansas City. Graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1939. Preceded in death by her husband Fred Battagler, brothers Cecil Brunke and Gene Brunke. Survived by brother Louis Brunke of California, daughter Carolyn Sims of Mulvane, KS., grandson Eric Sims, wife Paula and son Adam, grandson Fred Sims, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 6-8:00PM Friday March 11, 2011 at McGilley Antioch Chapel 3325 NE Vivion Road. Funeral services 1:00PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Northminster Presbyterian Church 1441 NE Englewood Rd Kansas City, MO. Graveside services 2:30PM at Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, MO. Memorial gifts may be sent to Northminster Presbyterian Church.
