Cox, Virginia (Ginny) age 87. Our Irish Matriarch. Passed away peacefully on December 17, 2011 with her loving daughters Margaret and Mary by her side. Pre-deceased by her husband John, adored mother of Carol Cox, Mary (John) Logios, John (Beverly) Cox and Margaret Cox (Patrick Rauso). Cherished grandmother of Andrea and Christopher Webster, Barbara and Spiro Tsotsos, Christopher and Samantha Logios, Charles Nickles, John and Melissa Cox and Katie Cox.Cherished great grandmother of Olivia, Isabel, Tyler, Eva, Logan, Zachary, Marina and Charlotte. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at M.J. Smith Sons Funeral Home 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Thursday at 10AM, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island.
