RITTS, Virginia "Ginny" Kelsey, 81, of Largo, passed away on February 6, 2013 due to complications from a stroke. Ginny was born in Blasdell, NY on November 16, 1931 to Bruce and Mary Colley and moved to Largo in 1988 from West Seneca, New York. She worked as a bookkeeper for her brother Bruce at Colley Pools for many years; but her most important job was raising her six children.Ginny was involved with many charities, the church, and held various positions at the Oasis Park HOA. She treated people with a kind heart, had a smile for everyone, and danced her way through life.
Her husband, Lenny, preceded her along with her siblings Bruce Colley and Jeanette Hughes. She is survived by her siblings Barbara Kelsey, Mary Lou Young, Paul Colley, and David Colley; and her sons, Ted W. Ritts (Donna), Tomball, TX and Michael L. Ritts (Lenka), Orchard Park, NY; daughters, Merrie Ann Sheltz (Robbie), Magnolia, TX, Carrie Ann Meier (Jimmy), Cedar Park, TX, Wendy L. Taht (Ken), Windermere, FL and Kim M. Ritts, Orchard Park, NY; and 19 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren and one on the way (due in August). She is loved very much by all her family and friends.
Viewing hours will be on Sunday, February 10th from 2:00-5:00 pm at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, (727) 562-2080. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 11th at 10:00 am at St. Dunstan's Anglican Church at 2790 Sunny Breeze Ave., Largo, FL 33770.
