Vivian Cagle, 70, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, in a local hospital.
Vivian was a native of Vinton and lived in Lake Charles for 36 years. She attended the University United Methodist Church in Lake Charles. She enjoyed traveling,dancing and playing the saxophone. She loved caring for children. Vivian was a Vinton High School Graduate from the Class of 1959.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, John Loyd Cagle; children, Terrell John Cagle and his wife Carol, of Laporte, Texas, Jena Ann Cagle of Lake Charles, and Darrin Wynne Cagle and his wife Rebecca, of Lake Charles; sister Nelma Maxine Kibodeaux and her husband Benton; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Vivian and Hugh Latta; and brother Thomas Hugh Latta, Sr.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday, all at the funeral home.
