FORT WORTH -- W.H. Barnett, 88, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
He was born to William Henry and Bessie May Barnett on Aug. 15, 1924, in Cleburne. W.H. served in the Marine Corps and after being honorably discharged went to work as a maintenance manager for Vandervoort's and retired after 20 years. He then went on to own Dill's Cafe off South Main Street in Fort Worth and retired from Justin Boot Co. after 15 years.
W.H was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Bessie May; brother, John Lewis Barnett; and son, Johnny Barnett.
Survivors: His wife, Bonnie Barnett; daughters, Cathy Williams (Paul) and Jerry Fox (Jeff); sons, W.H. "Tony" Barnett Jr. (Darla), Gary Barnett and David Couch (Linda); daughter-in-law, Sandy Barnett; sister, Fay Curry; grandchildren, William "Bubba" McGowan Jr., Latasha McGowan, Jason McKinney, Korrie McKinney, B.J. Couch, Cody Couch, Joanie Brewer and Amy Barnett; and 13 great-grandchildren.
